It’s very different to the “pick it up as you go along” mentality here in Australia. How can you be sure that your bike is going to be safe after having been repaired or serviced? The easiest way is to bring your bike to Bike Clinic and have it looked after by Yas Ueno, probably WA’s only fully qualified bicycle mechanic. Yas has 13 years experience in bicycle repair, maintenance, servicing and construction, as well as having ridden mountain bikes and trial bikes competitively at national level in Japan, so you can be sure that your bike will be returned to you ready for safe and competitive riding. Yas's family has been in the bicycle trade for three generations, and he has been around bicycles since he was born. He began helping out in his father's bike shop when he was 15, and became fully qualified at 20. She looks after the administrative side of Bike Clinic, but having worked in the family bike shop in Japan for 11 years, she also has extensive technical knowledge. Together, Yas and Deanne are working to provide and maintain expert standards for athletes, as well as high-quality friendly and personal service for all.
