PERIODIC SERVICING

　You can prolong the life of your bike by undertaking periodic servicing and maintenance. Not only bicycles which are ridden daily, but bicycles which have been forgotten about in the garage for a couple of years get out of condition. If you continue riding your bike without maintaining it properly, the rotating parts which use bearings will quickly wear out and could become permanently damaged. This can result in the drivetrain needing replacement earlier than usual, problems with gear changes, reduced braking power or, in a worst case scenario, brake failure while riding.
